I am thankful that AJ's family stands by him as AJ builds up his health after being diagnosed as HIV positive.
The purpose of this video is beyond family love. It is a challenge to family members especially parents:
'Support children who are gay= Parental love'
This is directed to parents, to mums who are bonded with their children from day one of pregnancy.
I grieve with every parent who cannot agree with this video. I plead every parent not to push away any child who confesses to you what is wrong.
Be there for them. You don't have to support them in what is wrong. You are there to love them like any parent, like Christopher Yuan's parents.
If any of my friends or loved ones walk down this path,I will be devastated like AJ's mum. Just like her, I will research all about HIV and how to strengthen his immune system. As AJ's mum said, there is NO CURE.
BUT the question is, "Is AJ fated to be gay and now fated to have HIV?"
AJ started experimenting with sex. He knows the consequences, just like his mum now.
HIV infection is preventable. It is not like a disability that one is born with. It is a CHOICE for so many liberals who claim to be pro-choice and every choice comes with consequences which many are not prepared for.
Love does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.
Love comes with great responsibility for self and others since we don't love in a vacuum.
The truth is:
Of the 144 cases reported within the first six months of 2015, 50% were from homosexual transmission, 10% were from bisexual transmission. Does not one's personal life influence his family and the nation?
Does not one have a choice to turn life around despite being HIV positive?
Pink Dot, why make such a video to inflict further pain on parents who love their children but cannot and rightly so, accept their lifestyle which leads to premature death?
Just like how I used to threaten suicide to get what I want as a confused and rebellious teen. I know too well a mother's heart.
And so today, PARENTS, I stand with you.
Support your children in righteous ways. Even if they don't understand now. They will in future, just like me.
AJ, if you truly love and care for your mum, turn away from this life of destruction. My prayers are with you and your mum.
God's love the purest.
